Architects MosArt Ltd was involved in a redevelopment project in which there was a requirement for a new recording studio. BSE air conditioning was nominated to design air conditioning and fresh air system to meet the clients comfort needs within the recording studio.
The brief was to supply an energy efficient air conditioning solution that would provide little or no ambient noise levels, comfortable temperature control and fresh air ventilation.
Other recording studios we have been involved with are Tommy Ellis studios, Windmill Lane recording studios, Pulse recording studios, Today FM, News Talk radio, East Coast radio, Shannon side radio, BIMM Institute Dublin and Rosemount recording studios.
Designing recording studio air conditioning and ventilation requires discipline and thorough knowledge of temperature control and air movement.
A Toshiba concealed air conditioning unit with modifications made to the unit which allow for better control of air flow was best suited to this application. Airflow, disruption ducting and air grilles were specially designed and selected for optimum airflow and sound levels. Energy efficient heat recovery was used to provide fresh air and ventilation.
The system was commissioned in conjunction with specialist sound engineers who, along with the client commended the high level of design and installation which superseded their expectations.
If your thinking of air conditioning a space that requires deficient ambient sound levels talk to us today. We have a vast amount of experience and knowledge in this field of expertise.
